Okay, I have really been debating on getting one of these for my sho. Is it really neccesry? Where did you get it and how much? R&D has one for the SHO, it’s around 200, should I trust them or is that a rip off?
It can only help extend the life of your supercharger clutch…..and unfortunately we’re starting to see some of them break on the modded SHO’s. If ur keeping it stock i wouldnt worry…if ur modding it…..get the BOV
Another question not related to the bov. Do you change your own oil? How do you get the siphon tube into the pan, the thing right when you take the cap off is in my way, I can’t even touch the oil, any recommendations? Thank you

You need an RS232 port or something like the hardware for a USB to rs232 conversion and then you need terminal software to run whatever hardware you decide on. Then you need the control codes to send to the DVD player.
To increase your chances that it will all work together, I'd decide on the hardware first and get a PCI card with a RS232 port and then talk to the vendor and see what software they recommend to run their card for the operating system you want to use.
A simple google search yields thousands of possibilities.
Then you need to worry about the control codes you need to send.

what do you mean by yamaha? an instrument? if so, try to play it little by little. pianos, you need to be gentle. it will probably be out of tune, but play it a while before you get it tuned. flute, blow into the headjoint to get it warm. You may need to change the keypads. clarinet, same thing. warm it up and then check the pads and corks. Any brass instrument, buzz the mouthpiece and then blow into the instrument. Then actually play it. electric keyboards, just plug in, turn on, and play.
yamaha also makes other things besides instruments. they make stuff like mowers and whatever. if this is what you are talking about, i have NO idea.

They have been doing this with the logo for a while and I really don't know why. Perhaps email Yamaha and ask them.
They have also at one stage been yellow and that may have been jealousy over suzuki. Who knows

Actually you can go right to http://www.yamaha.com/usa and then you can search for dealers. If the dealers don't have the model in stock they are able to order it direct from Yamaha. It looks expensive though- grantouch models are almost a minimum of $15k.
