Yes, they are harder to sell. People usually want at least 3 bedrooms.
I would say yes because most people who will be looking to buy a house will probably be families and will need more rooms than that.
Generally, yes…but it depends.
If you’re building in a retirement community, a lot of folks will just build two bedroom houses. Also, if you’re just building a “starter” home as cheaply as possible, you can get by with just two bedrooms…but if all the neighboring homes are three and four bedrooms, it will really be hard to sell.
If you can afford to, why not just build another bedroom while you’re building? It’ll be much cheaper to do it from scratch, instead of adding on later…and you can always use it for either an office or an extra storage room

I was also told that 2 bedroom houses don’t sell well. If you think about it most families consist of 2 parents and two kids. Not everyone needs 3 or more bedrooms, but you’d be safer to build a house that appealed to more people .
How about building a 2 bedroom house with an option to split one of the larger rooms into 2 decent sized rooms when you decided to sell?
I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase a 2 bedroom home as long as it was a larger home with a basement.
True. Remember a bedroom has to have a closet and a window. In many places the window must be 5.5 sq. ft. in new construction. So a Firefighter with an airpack can get in.

Just build the same size house but sqeeze in one more BR. That’s what builders do. Go look at some new model homes. Look at the size of the smallest BR. Tiny in many cases.
Spread betting is definitely easier to understand – you just choose the direction up or down and voila… Options are cheap but they tend to expire worthless. Options are more complex instruments and are best left to experienced traders – the only reason they are popular in the USA is that options provide gearing and they they don't have CFDs there. If you are in the UK or Ireland I would definitely go for spread betting.
As for which one you are more likely to win or make you a millionaire (!) that depends wholly on your trading skills – you can be successful in spread betting, futures, options, normal stock market dealing…IF you are able to predict the correct market direction. I can tell you that last year (2008) was a very painful year to trade (unless you happened to short banking stocks)…

…is having your home robbed. My family’s house was robbed over the weekend while we were on a short family trip. I am just grateful that neither my wife or either of my children were home when the burglar(s) broke into our home, as it is obvious they were looking for something in particular (firearms). Anyhow, we are now installing a home (remote) monitoring security system to aid in preventing anything like this happening again. It really sucks having your children sleep in the bed with you because you are too uneasy about sleeping in your own house. I believe it will be easier for my wife and I to feel safe and comfortable once the security system is installed… Anyone else gone through anything similar?

Sometimes people put too much into a home to sell it when the it would be better to allow an amount for these items to the buyer. They can make their own choices.
Today' real estate market is fickle. Have you talked to a good Realtor about marketing your home. A good agent will be able to answer any question. Just remember, sometimes people do upgrades and do not get enough to cover the costs.
I and my wife have been in the building industry and Real Estate marketing for 40 to 50 years.
Be smart and do not be a FSBO. You can lose much if you are not careful.
