I would have invested capital in banks and insurance companies. actually i would have "purchased" some shares too. they are safe and if i had the legal age (i'm 14) i would have done so. at least in malta, banks and insurance companies seem very prosperous

I have been an esthetician and stylist for the past two years and I am loving it! let me tell you a little bit about what its like and what it was like to get where I am today.
Depending on what state you live in, you have a certain amount of hours to be completed in school (and other requirements like state board testing and having to complete a certain number of services) before you can get your license and begin working. I live in Minnesota and my esthiology course was 600 hours. So about 4 months of full time school. My cosmetology course was 1500 hours which was 10.5 months of full time school.
Its hard for me to say what you should look for in a school because I already knew what school I wanted to go to and that was that. I went to Aveda and would recommend going there if there is one in your state.
When it comes to working as an esthetician I would recommend getting another license along with your esthetician license or you wont make any money (if you plan on worknig at a salon/spa). become a massage therapist, nail technician or hairstylist and find some where to work where they allow you to practice both esthiology and which ever other thing you choose. The majority of the population doesnt want facials on a regular basis so you want to be able to do something else along with it to be making a steady income.
Most places pay based on commission. Your commission percentage is different depending on where you work. Some places have a sliding scale other have one steady percentage that they pay you. Its rare but some places pay you hourly which is great because you're always guaranteed a decent paycheck.
When starting out in this industry you will not be making a lot of money. I think thats something they dont really emphasize when you're at school and it sucks finding it out the hard way. But as you start getting busier and people come back to see you, thats when you start making some more money and good tips.
the stress isnt so bad until you start getting busy. When you're booked out all day with appointments back to back and sometimes you dont get to take a break to use the bathroom or eat, thats when it gets a little stressful
but thats not what every single day is like thank god. But once you get into a rhythm and you get used to your job, things get easier.
the best part for me about my job is seeing the smiles on peoples faces after i shaped their brows for the first time and it changes the whole look of their face, or a fabulous make up application, hair cut, color, style, leg wax, whatever! as long as theyre happy, it makes me happy.
If you are grossed out by zits, black heads, weird skin conditions, hairy bodies, or being in someones crotch/ buttcrack doing a brazilian wax then being an esthetician probably isnt for you.
some say that would be the worst part of my job but I really dont mind it.
I hope this helped you out a bit! Good luck!!
Learn The Secrets Of Professional Stock Option Strategies That Create A Consistent Stream Of Cash Into Your Ba…
You buy as many properties as you can reasonably afford, starting off with just one if necessary. You can buy cash or with a mortgage. You can rent the properties out, or sell them on if you were lucky enough to buy one at a good price. If you buy a property for £80,000, then rent it out for 10 years and make a profit, then you come to sell it and it should (in theory) still be worth at least £80,000. It all depends on what finances you have available to invest. If you are doing this on a regular basis than you would set up a company.
