I work in an office where I am surrounded by terrible noise. The person in the cube to the right of me spends all day clearing his throat, belching, whistling, humming, and sneezing so loud that people literally jump. The person across from me has some sort of nervous tic, and continuously makes barking and meowing noises. The people to the left of me spend all day in a non-stop tirade of unnecessary gossip and drama.
After discussing the excessive noise issue with my boss and co-workers, I was basically told that I just need to “deal with it”. So, while I am in the process of looking for a new job, I was thinking about getting some noise-reducing headphones.
I’m asking a question that I already know the answer to. When I had this question a while back I wasn’t able to get a good answer. This should help someone trying to decide.
