I wouldn’t use alcohol with isotretinoin, your liver is having a hard time already with the drug so adding alcohol will not be good for your liver

iv been an roaccutane 20mg twice a day for 9 weeks now and i have never moisteriesed once… it doesnt make my skin that dry..
thats outrageous. humour me if you will, but either the treatment is not working or you have had extremely oily skin.in the event that the treatment has been working for you thats truly a blessing. Finding and purchasing the right moisturiser is an expensive task. Hows your progress?
yeh i did have very oily skin pretty much the main cause of my acne i am doubling my dosage soonwell im past my breakout stage in the 2nd month and its all starting to clear up only a few active whiteheads

thats really unfortunate. It’s safe to say that it is not merely an unlucky few who experience the worst side effects caused by accutane. It is quite prevalent. Thank you for sharing your story and raising a relevant concern

I have taken accutane twice in my life and after 2 weeks i started to see improvement but i find after stopping within a couple of months i start to break out again not as badly but i do still breakout. Also be sure to moisturize regularly an use chapstick it is very drying. hope that helps

I've been on accutane for 7 weeks now, and after my first monthly checkup, my doctor recommended a microdermabrasion. I was confused because it said you shouldn't have any cosmetic procedures done while you're on accutane, but she said it doesn't matter. I trust her. I would get a chemical face peel every two weeks / one months before, and I think those are much better for getting rid of scars. Microdermabrasions are more for when your skin doesn't have an even texture. You can go already, if you want! Although.. when I started going to this spa, I had to fill out a bunch of papers asking about any other medicine I was on and accutane, which I wasn't using then. I think it's about six months if they won't let you, but my family doctor is also a dermatologist and she said she could perform it on me. This is getting lengthy.

your school should have access (through the library most likely) to ebsco host, which is a research database. there you can access all kinds of journals. type in the search terms you're looking for and check "peer reviewed" to get the scholarly articles.
you can also try searching in "academic search premier" (another database). i guess without knowing the direction of your paper i can't really give you much more direction/provide links for you, but i hope this helps.

No it isn't illegal, but consider the effect that leaving in the manner will have on your future work options.
Take the vacation to be sure you get your paid time off, but one week in submit your letter of resignation. You need to give 2 weeks notice. One issue though is that you may need to do some transitioning with the old job, like training your replacement, clearing out your desk, notifying contacts that you are leaving…if these are relevant in your job. It isn't illegal to take the vacation and then resign, but if you are going to need a reference from your current employer you need to give them two weeks notice.

Yes, I was on accutane, and I wore make up. It was fine. You might want to get a good moisturizer to put on before the foundation, because your skin will get very dry. Try something oil-free, and with sunscreen, since your skin will be sensitive from the medication. Neutrogena and Clinique have good ones.
I can’t even see what he said, but most seem to be morons. The best thing they can do for the planet at this point is lay down and die. And they say PBS has a “liberal bias” If that’s the case then sign me up!!!!!! Only PBS seems concerned with public health and the environment.
